Set up your company

Tell Quelixa who you are — legal details, currency, fiscal year, tax registration and the chart of accounts that frames your books.

The company-setup wizard captures the handful of facts every other app depends on. You can finish it in two minutes and refine the details later under Settings → Company.

Company profile#

  1. Legal identity

Your registered name, address and company registration number. These appear on invoices and official documents.

  2. Currency & fiscal year

Pick your main currency and the month your financial year starts. Multi-currency is available later; this sets the books' base currency.

  3. Tax registration

Enter your VAT / GST / tax number. Quelixa uses your market's rules to compute the right taxes on every transaction automatically.

  4. Logo & branding

Upload a logo and set your accent colour — they flow through to invoices, quotations and the customer portal.

The chart of accounts#

Every workspace is provisioned with a localized chart of accounts for your market — the right account structure, tax codes and reporting categories out of the box, across the markets Quelixa supports.

Localized from day one

If you signed up on a generic trial, Quelixa localizes your chart of accounts the moment you set your country in this wizard. Existing entries are preserved and remapped where needed.

You can extend or rename accounts under Accounting → Configuration → Chart of Accounts, but most businesses never need to — the localized default is designed to satisfy statutory reporting in your jurisdiction.

Fiscal localization#

Beyond accounts, your localization includes:

  • Tax rules — the rates, exemptions and reverse-charge logic for your country.
  • Statutory reports — VAT/GST returns and financial statements in the formats your authority expects.
  • Document numbering — sequences that comply with local invoicing requirements.
Get this right before you transact

Currency, fiscal year and tax registration shape every posted entry. Confirm them before you raise your first invoice — changing them after you have transactions is possible but more involved.
