Quotations & Orders
Send branded quotations your customer can accept online, then confirm them into orders that flow straight to delivery and invoicing.
A quotation is a priced proposal; a confirmed quotation is a sales order — the document that triggers fulfilment and billing. Quelixa carries the line items, pricing and tax all the way through, so selling something and accounting for it are one continuous flow.
Build a quotation#
- Start the quote
From Sales → Orders → New, or directly from a CRM opportunity. Pick the customer; their currency, price list and payment terms apply automatically.
- Add product lines
Add products and quantities. Prices come from the customer's price list; tax is computed by your localization. Add optional sections, notes and discounts.
- Send it
Email a branded PDF or share an online link. The customer can review, e-sign and accept it themselves.
The shared link lets a customer accept and even pay a deposit without a back-and-forth. An accepted quote flips to an order automatically — no re-keying.
Pricing & discounts#
| Mechanism | What it does | | --- | --- | | Price lists | Per-customer or per-segment pricing, with currency and quantity rules. | | Discounts | Line-level percentage or amount, with optional approval limits. | | Optional products | Upsell lines the customer can add to their quote themselves. |
Confirm to an order#
Confirming a quotation creates the sales order. From here Quelixa coordinates the rest of the chain:
- Deliver
For stocked goods, the order requests a delivery in Inventory. See Inventory.
- Invoice
Invoice the whole order, a percentage, or only what's been delivered — your choice of policy. The invoice posts to Accounting.
Set whether you bill on ordered or delivered quantities per product. Services usually bill on ordered; physical goods often bill on delivered. The order respects the policy automatically.
